To foster and nurture the written word. We aim to create an artistic environment for the novice or the professional writers that need that second wind to get started or to complete their manuscript.
Retreat Vision:
We want to produce a retreat where writers can come to be recharged and filled with valuable information to take back with them to complete their manuscripts. “After attending the Black Writers & Reunion Conference (BWRC), I was able to establish an extended family of writers, publishers and poets in the literary industry. I want to recreate the professionalism and creative vibe that Tia Ross and her staff provided,” says Bryan-Keyth, founder and organizer or The Gulf Coast Writers Retreat. After consulting with Tia Ross, Director of BWRC, Bryan-Keyth and his team are geared up to produce the inaugural Gulf Coast Writers Retreat. This retreat isn’t limited to writers only on the gulf Coast, but writers all over the world.
